Season 3 of The Summer I Became Pretty will not be released in 2024

Filming won’t begin for a few more months.

This is one of the biggest series in recent years for Prime Video. The Summer I Became Pretty was a big hit for its first two seasons, broadcast during summer 2022 and summer 2023. But obviously, season 3 will not be for summer 2024!

According to People, the teen romance of Jenny Han, renewed six months ago, has still not launched production! Amazon and MGM Studios plan to start filming next spring in Wilmington, North Carolina. But this is the best possible option, because “nothing has been done yet” and this filming could even wait a few more weeks.

The screenwriters’ strike, which paralyzed Hollywood last summer, postponed the filming of this season 3 which must, obviously, be filmed in good weather. The Summer I Became Pretty will therefore not return in 2024 on Prime Video. This third chapter of Belly’s adventures will certainly be for 2025.
