Season 3 of The Summer I Became Pretty will not be released this summer on Prime Video

Production on the new episodes has just begun.

Belly is taking a break this summer. While season 1 of The summer I became pretty was released during the summer of 2022 and season 2 was broadcast in the summer of 2023, we expected to see season 3 during the summer of 2024. But no.

Amazon has only just launched production of season 3, as revealed in this little video on the beach. We therefore learn in passing that the broadcast is delayed and scheduled for the summer of 2025. It will include 11 episodes, which is much more than the previous seasons (which had 7 and 8).

This suggests that the series could be coming to an end. Because The summer I became pretty is based on the trilogy of books by Jenny Hanalso showrunner, chronicling the romantic trio Isabel “Belly” Conklin (Lola Tung) with the Fisher brothers, the brooding Conrad (Christopher Briney) and the relaxed Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno), with whom Belly grew up. The upcoming season will recount the events of the third and final book: We'll Always Have Summer.
