Amazon is cleaning up its series and has just canceled one of the good surprises of the year 2023: Shelterthe mystery thriller created by Harlan Cobenbased on his own novel published in 2011, will not have a season 2.

Season 1 was put online last August on Prime Video, under the title Discovered in France, with Jaden Michael, Constance Zimmer, Abby Corrigan and Adrian Greensmith headlining. Harlan Coben introduced to the screen one of its key characters, Mickey Bolitar, who begins a new life with his aunt after the brutal and sudden death of his parents.

Season 1 ended with a huge cliffhanger and Harlan Coben then said he wanted to digr: “We want to know where Mickey goes from here, where the other characters go from this finale. It’s a really rich world that we’re going to explore…”

But he won’t have time. Shelter stops there.
