Shuri in Avengers 5? “I still have a lot of things to do” in the MCU

Actress Letitia Wright teases her upcoming return to the Marvel Universe.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is on hiatus, in 2024, with the only Deadpool & Wolverine at the cinema. But the old heroes will soon be making their return to theaters. While Benedict Cumberbacht recently announced his comeback for Avengers 5, Letitia Wright assures for his part that his Black Panther will also return. Two years later Wakanda Forever and its 860 million dollars at the box office, Shuri – T’Challa’s little sister – should also be featured in the next films Avengersas the actress suggests in the show The View :

“Let’s just say… I want to continue playing Shuri. She’s one of my favorite characters. I’m very grateful to her. There’s a lot of things happening for Shuri, a lot of things to come. ..”

Letitia Wright picked up the Black Panther costume after Chadwick Boseman’s death. For now, Black Panther 3 is not planned at Marvel, but the actress said in 2023 that a project was “already in the works”.

More certainly, when she mentions “things to come“, she mentions the films Avengers 5 (May 2026) and Avengers: Secret Wars (May 2027) which should bring together a number of MCU heroes.
