Reward at the Cabourg romantic film festival (grand jury prize for feature films and youth jury prize), Simple Like Sylvain highlights Sophia’s love journey (Magalie Lépine Blondeau) a fifty-year-old professor of philosophy in Montreal. After 10 years spent in a relationship with the platonic Xavier (Francis-William Rhéaume), Sophia will have an encounter that will turn her life upside down. The famous Sylvain (Pierre-Yves Cardinal) a carpenter in charge of the work on his country house. A question inevitably arises, should you give up everything to experience love at first sight intensely?
