Six years later, she makes a totally unexpected return to Grey’s Anatomy

Actress Jessica Capshaw will return to Seattle for an episode.

She left at the end of season 14, as her relationship with Callie Torres (Sara Ramirez) fell apart. Here’s Arizona Robbins again in Grey’s Anatomy.

Production announced this weekend that Jessica Capshaw will be the guest star in season 20 currently being filmed. The pediatric surgeon, present in Seattle between season 5 and season 14, was removed from the casting in 2018 (at the same time as Sarah Drew) when the production wanted to save money within a cast that had become too heavy to take on .

We don’t yet know what her place will be in season 20 but she will only be there for 1 episode.

Two other guests have been revealed: Natalie Morales (Dead to Me) And Freddy Miyares (When They See Us) will make their debut in Grey’s Anatomy. Morales will play Monica Beltran, who will be a pediatric surgeon whose pragmatism and composure have made her one of the best in her field. And Miyares will be a recurring newcomer in the role of Dorian, “an intelligent, warm and friendly patient who is involved in a serious accident and is fighting to stay alive“.

Season 20 of Grey’s Anatomy will be launched on March 14 on ABC. It will be seen in France on TF1.
