After the John Lennon biopic in 2009, Sam Taylor-Johnson retraces the dazzling success of the British soul singer.

The light of the spotlights reveals the recognizable silhouette of the soul singer, with her iconic look. With her rebellious pin-up appearance, the young woman made her mark towards the end of the 2000s. Popular for her unique voice, the starlet experienced violent media exposure. Placed on the covers of the tabloids for her tragic love affair with Blake Fielder Civil, Amy Winehouse fatally consoled herself with alcohol.

The trailer for the feature film directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson (Nowhere Boy, Fifty Shades of Gray…) highlights the rise of the budding singer until her explosion.
