It is undoubtedly the most anticipated new season in recent years. After the global phenomenon of 2021, Squid Game will relaunch a part soon on Netflix. A season 2 which is coming quickly and which will be broadcast in 2024 on the platform.

Variety announced this by publishing a letter to shareholders, which lists a list of series that will be broadcast this year. The main one being season 2 of Squid Game. No more details on the date (certainly during the 2nd semester), but it will be good for 2024!

“Looking ahead, despite last year’s strikes pushing back the launch of some titles, we have a big, bold slate for 2024.”, we can read in the letter. “The public will be able to choose from season 2 of The Diplomat, season 3 of Bridgerton or season 2 of Squid Game, as well as unscripted series like Tour de France: Unchained S2, Love is Blind S6, F1: Drive to Survive S6 and Full Swing S2…”

Squid Game 2 will still be signed by writer-director Hwang Dong-Hyuk. The main actor, Lee Jung-jae, aka number 456, will be back for new deadly games.
