Star Trek Discovery unveils a monstrous excerpt from its final season

Season 5 will be available next spring on Paramount Plus.

The last mission of Discovery will hit the ground running. Taking advantage of Comic-Con in São Paulo, Brazil, this weekend, Paramount revealed a first clip from the final season of Star Trek: Discovery.

It features Captain Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) and Cleveland “Book” Booker (David Ajala) facing a dangerous creature that unexpectedly possesses the ability to hide. As they try to get out of it, they realize that they are not alone…

The couple’s reunion is already a nice surprise given that during the season 4 finale, the Federation had sentenced Book to helping families displaced by the DMA indefinitely and Burnham wasn’t sure she would ever see him again…

The fifth and final season will send the USS Discovery to the other side of the galaxye “to find an ancient power whose very existence was deliberately hidden for centuries.”

Released in April 2024 on Paramount Plus.
