Stranger Things Season 5 Filming Has Reached Halfway Through

Yes, it’s very long, as Maya Hawke confided this week. But it’s moving forward. Filming for season 5 of Stranger Things has reached the halfway point, as co-creator reveals Ross Duffervia this post on Instagram: “Week 24. Glad to be halfway through with the best cast and crew of all time“.

In other words, if production continues without any significant delays, then there are still 24 weeks of filming left and Season 5 of Stranger Things will be in the can around mid-December. It will then be necessary to ensure post-production and the promo tour.

The release date of season 5 of Stranger Things has not yet been announced, although we shouldn’t expect a release until summer 2025 at the earliest.
