Melanie Thierry And Gilles Lellouche are starring in the next film Thomas Bidegaindirector but also screenwriter on a prophet notably, and more recently Omar the strawberry, Drop of gold, or Stillwater. In 2015, he directed The cowboys (2015) with François Damiens on display, and continued with selfie (with Manu Payet, Blanche Gardin and Elsa Zylberstein) in 2018.
In Suddenly alone, the two actors play a couple who decide to travel around the world by boat. “Before reaching South America, they make a detour to a wild island near the Antarctic coast. While exploring, a storm hits them and their boat disappears. Far away from the world, suddenly alone in the face of danger and the approaching winter, they will have to fight for their survival and that of their couple. specifies the synopsis.
The film is inspired by the eponymous book by Isabelle Autissier published in 2015. Suddenly Alone will be released in cinemas on December 6, 2023.
