Surprise, Anya Taylor-Joy is part of the cast of Dune 2!
“I can’t believe we kept it a secret for so long,” Denis Villeneuve said.
The participation ofAnya Taylor-Joy to the Atreides/Harkonnen conflict central to the desert intrigue of Dune: Part Two is now official. The latter appeared at the London premiere on Thursday. She joins the list of newcomers to the casting: Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Léa Seydoux, Souheila Yacoub, Christopher Walken And Tim Blake Nelson. They will find Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya and the other actors who return in the sequel.

Even if it had managed to remain secret, Letterboxd still included the second issue of the blockbuster in the actress’s filmography…Oops.
Her role was not revealed, however, and she didn’t reveal anything to journalists on the red carpet: “You must see the movie. This is probably one of the best films I have seen in my entire life. It’s a dream come true. The books are incredible. Denis and the cast couldn’t do better.”

The filmwhich was one of the big box office successes in 2023. We will also find her in Furiosa, where she plays Imperator Furiosa. The film of George Miller will be released in theaters on May 22.
