Sydney Sweeney plays a pregnant nun in Immaculate (trailer)

Sydney Sweeney is starting to be everywhere, in all genres: featured in rom coms Everything except you with Glen Powellreleased this Wednesday, soon in Madame Web as a superhero… and in this trailer, the flagship actress ofEuphoria tries his hand at the horror genre.
This is his second collaboration with the director Michael Mohanwho had already directed her in The Voyeurs (2021) and which reiterates the experience in Immaculate. It tells the story of a pious and devoted nun who enters an Italian convent. When she falls “miraculously” pregnant, she will stir up the jealousy of the other sisters while fighting against her own demons.
The trailer reveals an oppressive atmosphere with this main character trapped in the huge convent. Austerity and isolation are the key words of this trailer. Sydney Sweeney has already proven his playing versatility, notably in realityAnd Immaculate could constitute a new challenge in his career. Álvaro Mortemade famous for his role in The House of Paper, plays a priest attached to the convent. The plot takes place in Italy, the rest of the cast is, unsurprisingly, Italian.
Immaculate will be released in our cinemas on March 20, 2024.
