Ted hasn’t changed: the first teaser of the series

Seth MacFarlane brings the little bear back to life in this prequel story set in 1993.

He’s still such a prankster! This good old man Ted did not change. The Peacock series derived from the two crazy comedies of Seth MacFarlane offers a first amusing teaser. We see Ted in 1993 writing a letter to himself, in 2023. And 30 years later, all his dreams haven’t really come true…

Series Ted will be a seven-episode event, which will be a prequel set in the past of Framingham, Massachusetts, and during the adolescence of his best friend, John Bennett (now played by Max Burkholder, who reprises the role of Mark Wahlberg). The series begins as “Ted’s moment of glory (still voiced by MacFarlane) has passed. He now lives with John, 16, with his parents Matty and Susan (Scott Grimes And Alanna Ubach) and her cousin Blaire (Giorgia Whigham). Ted may be a bad influence on John, but ultimately he is a loyal friend who is always willing to take risks for the sake of friendship.”

Ted will be put online on January 11, 2024 on the Peacock platform (which does not exist in France). The first episode will be 1 hour long, but the other six will last 30 minutes each. We don’t know who will broadcast to us.
