Thanks Internet: Behind the Scenes of Squeezie’s Rise (Trailer)

After rapper Orelsan, it’s Squeezie’s turn to have his documentary series on prime video.

Lucas Hauchard, better known as Squeezie, is the leading YouTuber in France, at 27 years old, with no less than 18.6 million subscribers on his channel. A generational star who will be entitled to his documentary series, Thanks Internetscheduled for January 19, 2024 on Prime Video.

For 10 years, Theodore Bonnet, the director and best friend of Squeezie, has been following him constantly with his camera (“I filmed it everywhere, all the time“). A concept which is reminiscent of that of Never show this to anyonethe docu dedicated to Orelsan, also broadcast on Prime.

Thanks Internet will reveal the life and career of the YouTuber outside of filming. “I have only one goal: for you to know him as I know him,” he announces in the trailer which was posted online.

We can see extracts from testimonies of other celebrities who intervene in the documentary such as Mister V, McFly and Carlito, Lena Situations, Hugo Décrypte, Orelsan, and also Squeezie’s brother, Florent Hauchard, who also states that “it wasn’t a foregone conclusion” for Squeezie.

Indeed the trailer highlights the contrast between the beginnings of the YouTuber still a teenager, making his videos in modest conditions, and images showing him on stage years later, to the wild cheers of a crowd of thousands of people. “You were the first to believe“, specifies Theodore, “you” being here intended for Squeezie fans.
