The Afterparty canceled: the “murder mystery” will not have season 3

Season 2 ended last month.

The excellent police comedy The Afterpary, broadcast for two years by Apple TV+ (and also in France on Canal +) will not have a sequel. No new investigation for Aniq and Zoe. Apple TV+ has officially canceled The Afterparty, a few weeks after the broadcast of the season 2 finale. There will therefore be no season 3 for the “murder mystery” worn by Tiffany Haddish, Sam Richardson and Zoë Chao.

This cancellation thwarts the plans of Chris Millerwho said a few days ago that he had planned a sequel:

“We really want to do a season 3, not only because we have a lot of good ideas, but also because it would mean that the studios have acceded to our demands, that the strike is over and that the writers are paid what they are. must. Only then can we get back to work.” they say in Variety.
