The Bikeriders: the film with Tom Hardy and Austin Butler has found a new distributor

Focus Features is bringing back Jeff Nichols and a theatrical release is planned in the United States for 2024.

In just twenty-four hours, the New Regency company, which produces The Bikeriders of Jeff Nichols, managed to find a new distributor after being let go by Disney. Focus Features is therefore planning a theatrical release of the film in the United States in 2024. Universal Pictures International will be responsible for global distribution.

This is a relief for New Regency and Focus Features President Peter Kujawski expresses his enthusiasm: “We’re thrilled to add such an exciting project to next year’s robust slate of films.” We look forward to working alongside New Regency again and reuniting with the talented Jeff Nichols on another of his visionary projects.

The Bikeriders chronicles the rise of a Chicago biker gang, the Vandals, in the 1960s. Austin Butler plays the role of Benny, the young hothead in search of meaning and Tom Hardy plays Johnny, his mentor and club boss. Jodie Comer plays the role of Kathy, Benny’s wife and narrator of the story. Norman Reedus, Michael Shannon And Boyd Holbrook are also part of the cast. The film does not yet have a release date.
