Trailer for The Buccaneers: a new “Bridgerton” on Apple TV+

The Buccaneers: season 2 officially ordered

Nan and her friends will definitely come back for new Victorian adventures.

Good surprise at the end of the year, the Victorian series from Apple TV+ is renewed! In the vein of Bridgerton from Netflix, The Buccaneers will be entitled to a season 2.

Inspired by the last unfinished novel “The Buccaneers” by Edith Wharton, the series brings together Kristine Frøseth And Alisha Boe. They play two young American women from the gleaming Gilded Age of Manhattan, who go to London to find a prestigious husband.

The first season ended last week and Kristine Frøseth told us that a sequel was perfectly possible, the finale opening up many avenues.

“I get immense pleasure from seeing people around the world fall in love with these characters, who have been brought to life thanks to an incredible cast“, rejoices Katherine Jakeways, the creator of the series. “We know that after Season 1 ends, audiences are eager to see what happens next for our buccaneers, so I’m absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to continue the adventures of this smart, happy, messy sorority“.
