The Continental, the John Wick series with Mel Gibson, is coming soon to Prime Video (trailer)
The younger versions of Winston (Ian McShane) and Charon (Lance Reddick) are at the heart of this montage.
At the beginning of August, Prime Video unveiled the first images of the series derived from John Wick, The Continental. As its title indicates, it is interested in the hotel welcoming hitmen such as the one played by Keanu Reeves in the main saga. A world with its own rules, which we explore throughout the films.

In this new story, we will find this setting several decades before the misadventures of John Wick: in the 1970s. Colin Woodell (The Flight Attendant) plays the role of young Winston, played so far by Ian McShane, Ayomide Adegun (soon in the prequel to Hunger Games) plays Charon, a popular character in the saga who had the traits of Lance Reddick, recently disappeared. Among the new characters, there is notably Mel Gibson as Cormac, the former boss of the Continental who calls Winston to account, whose brother has committed irreparable crimes. Katie McGrath (Supergirl) is also in the casting.
This new trailer, offered directly in VF, revives the tradition of John Wick, mixing threatening dialogues and undeniably effective hand-to-hand combat and/or handgun combat. THE “headshots” are required, as are ambushes and spectacular falls. The video also emphasizes the broadcast in three parts of this new series, to be discovered on the platform from September 22.
