The Crow remake is expected to be released this year
The film starring Bill Skarsgård and FKA twigs will soon be in theaters.
In 2022, we learned that the production of a remake of the second feature film byAlex Proyas (Dark City, I, Robot). Made infamous by the actor’s death Brandon Lee (son of Bruce) during filming, The Crowreleased in 1994, drew its darkness and despair from comics namesake of James O’Barr. Cult, the film had already seen two sequels and a television reboot. This time it is Rupert Sanders (Snow White and the Hunter) who is carrying out this project, the result of which we should soon see.

Deadline reports that an eight-figure deal was struck by Lionsgate for domestic rights to the film at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival. This remake of The Crow is therefore planned for 2024.
The original film tells the story of the awakening from the dead of Eric Draven, murdered at the same time as his partner, and determined to avenge her. Among the main roles of the remake, we will find the singer and composer FKA brancheswhose charisma we could glimpse in 2019 in Honey Boywritten by his former companion, Shia Labeouf. It will also be an opportunity to find Bill Skarsgardwho we hadn’t seen since John Wick 4. Note that Skarsgård also plays in the Nosferatu of Robert Eggers which will be released in December 2024.
