In The End We Start From, it is the rise of the waters. When London is completely submerged, a young mother who recently gave birth (Jodie Comer) must leave her home and go to the north of the country to survive, while raising her newborn. The film is directed by Mahalia Belocreator of the two mini-series Requiem And The Long Song. It is also written by Alice Birchscreenwriter of The Wonder And Lady Macbethboth with Florence Pugh.
The trailer reveals dull images announcing the serious and apocalyptic atmosphere of the film. Jodie Comer meets different characters during his wandering, played by Katherine Waterston (Fantastic Beasts), Joel Fry (Cruella), Mark Strong (Kingsman) Gina McKee (Phantom Thread) And Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange).
The colossal burden that Jodie Comer must carry is her newborn child whom she must protect as the world collapses. This will be the main test to face in this post-apocalyptic film which does not yet have a release date planned.
