The excellent Dark Matter trailer promises a crazy sci-fi series

Wouldn't you want to know what your life could have been like if…? Discover other versions of yourself? Joel Edgerton And Jennifer Connelly are going to dive into this “mindfuck” maze with the series Dark Matterwhich Apple TV+ revealed today with an excellent, very promising trailer (below).

This new science fiction thriller adapted from the eponymous novel by Blake Crouch“is interested in the paths we decide to take or not. The series follows Jason Dessen (Edgerton), a physicist, professor and father. One night, while walking home through the streets of Chicago, he is kidnapped and thrown into an alternate version of his life. Wonder quickly turns into nightmare when he tries to return to reality, then immersed in the hallucinatory landscape of the lives he could have lived. In this maze of realities, he embarks on a harrowing journey to find his true family and save them from the most terrifying and hardest enemy to beat: himself.”

Blake Crouch wrote and showrun this adaptation himself, which also brings together Alice Braga, Jimmi Simpson, Dayo Okeniyi and Oakes Fegley in the cast.

Dark Matter is made up of nine episodes, which will be available on Wednesday, May 8 on Apple TV+, followed by a new episode every Wednesday until June 26, 2024.
