The Fabulous Destiny of Amélie Poulain gets a new trailer for its release
Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s film returns to theaters this summer.
23 years later, the phenomenon Amélie Poulain returns to theaters to delight the hearts of the public for a second time. the fabulous destiny of Amelie Poulain will be released in theaters on July 24, in the middle of the Olympic Games. A counter-programming which is aimed as much at French people who are not interested in the event as at tourists from the four corners of the world expected in Paris this summer who will be able to immerse themselves in the sweet, absurd and poetic universe of Amélie. The film will also be subtitled in English, like the new trailer which was unveiled by UG Distribution:
the fabulous destiny of Amelie Poulain attracted 9 million spectators in France and 30 million worldwide when released in 2001. The nostalgic representation of the capital, and more precisely of the charming Sacré-Cœur district, an original love story and a main character more than endearing make Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s film a huge popular success beyond borders.
If you see it again this summer, in the cinema, like Amelie, you will be able to turn around and observe the faces of the other spectators in the dim light, fascinated by the atmosphere of the film.
