The galaxy is upside down in Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy (Trailer)

If the Marvel What If series and the Star Wars universe came together, it would be Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy.

While the first episode of the saga, The Phantom Menace, released in theaters for its 25th anniversary and a hit at the American box office, and that the trailer for the next series The Acolyte was released a few days ago, the announcements Star Wars continue. Shortly after the Star Wars Day celebrations, “May the 4th be with you”, Disney revealed the trailer for its new animated series, Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy.

“Peace is an illusion” in the new Star Wars: The Acolyte trailer

“Space… time… Everything is collapsing!” In a galaxy far, far away, young Sig Greebling (dubbed in original version by the actor of Stranger Things Gaten Matarazzo) discovers a powerful artifact in a Jedi temple: the “Cornerstone” – a kind of “tesseract” Lego version.

The galaxy is completely turned upside down, the Legos making up the planets are destroyed and reassembled into a new reality and history as we know it has disappeared. So it's up to Sig Greebling to put the pieces back together and rebuild the galaxy. In his adventures, he is helped by new characters and a Jedi who seems to be Luke SkywalkerMark Hamill being announced at the casting.

Marked by their originality and their quirky and fun humor, the Lego Star Wars series have extended the universe of the saga since The Yoda Chronicles up to the special Christmas or summer episodes where we can see Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader (finally) taking a vacation on the beach.

It's obviously not just at Marvel that the multiverse is wreaking havoc. With Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy, the brick dimension has never been so advanced. Ewoks as pilots? TB TT, war machines of the Empire belonging instead to the rebellion, and even crazier Jar Jar Binks, this often mocked character from the saga, as Darth Vader with a red saber in his hand coming out of the Millennium Falcon. What other ideas are hidden in the series?

To find out, go to Disney + from September 13, 2024.
