The Jurassic Park film replayed in LEGO: trailer

Ian Malcolm and Jeff Goldblum retell history in this animated brick-and-mortar film.

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Jurassic ParkUniversal has developed a major LEGO animated film, titled Jurassic Park: The Unofficial Retelling. Or the original Steven Spielberg film (1993) remade in yellow bricks, scene by scene… but with a few small adjustments for a little more comedy! Trailer :

An old Ian Malcolm will tell the story from his living room. Jeff Goldblum will be in the voice cast, as will Sam Neill and Laura Dern.

LEGO Jurassic Park: The Unofficial Retelling will condense the classic version into a 22-minute short film which will be released on the Peacock platform in the United States on October 10.

The official pitch: “From the comfort of his living room and having found his personal journal, Dr. Ian Malcolm, the ever charming and now slightly older chaos theory mathematician, tells the story of what happened that terrible night in Jurassic Park! As only he can, Dr. Malcolm finds a way to add his own humor and style to bring this poignant story to life. A destination filled with living dinosaurs for families and children to enjoy – what could go wrong? Absolutely everything… as he predicted!”
