The Last of US: season 2 will be filmed in early 2024

HBO provides an update on the schedule for its post-apocalyptic series.

As Euphoria And The White Lotusseries The Last of Us will be late. HBO provided an update on the production of season 2, disrupted by the ongoing strike in Hollywood. According to Variety, CEO Casey Bloys announced that season 2 will begin filming in early 2024. The Last of Us is not part of the HBO line-up for next year and that means this season 2 will not air until 2025.

The HBO calendar will therefore seriously suffer from the social conflict and only House of the Dragon will be able to do the event next year.

Series The Last of Us is produced and co-written by the creator of Chernobyl, Craig Mazin, and the original game’s screenwriter Neil Druckmann, who is also one of the directors. It is broadcast in France, for the moment, via Prime Video’s Warner pass.
