The Last of Us season 2 will be helmed by Loki director

Kate Herron joins the HBO series.

While the cast of season 2 of The Last of Us becomes clearer, production is also recruiting behind the camera. And Kate Herron should be one of the directors who will direct the upcoming episodes.

According to Jeff Sneider of The InSneider, she will take care of “at least one episode“. It must be remembered that Kate Herron produced and directed all six episodes of season 1 of Loki, undoubtedly the best Marvel on Disney Plus. She did not return for season 2. She also signed four episodes of Sex Education for Netflix.

For its season 1, The Last of Us was produced by the two creators, Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann, as well as Jeremy Webb and the Iranian Ali Abbasi.

Season 2 of The Last of Uspushed back by the strike, must soon launch its production… if Pedro Pascal’s arm allows it!
