The magnificent trailer for the animated film Watchmen
A new adaptation of Alan Moore's work which will be released in two parts on screens.
While he has just revealed The Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim at the Annecy festival, Warner Bros. continues in the animated vein and presents the return of Watchmen. Fifteen years after Zack Snyder's film (2009) and five years after Damon Lindelof's series on HBO (2019), we will return to the world of Alan Moore, for a new adaptation of the comic released almost 40 years ago.
Announced last year, this new animated film Watchmen is already revealed in a superb trailer which promises to stay very close to the original (watch below)
It is Rorschach who guides us into this world on the brink of the Apocalypse where Dr. Manhattan acts as an omnipotent and fluorescent peacekeeper. The trailer reveals in passing that the adaptation will be done in two parts. So we understand in two films. The video, however, does not give any release date.
This movies Watchmen (or maybe just the first part?) are supposed to arrive in theaters by the end of the year.
