The Masters of the Air event series delivers a spectacular final aerial trailer

A major series on American aviation during the Second World War, produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks.

This will be one of the unmissable events at the start of 2024: after Band of Brothers And Pacific HellSteven Spielberg and Tom Hanks return to World War II, with Masters of the Air which will focus on a group of American bombers, in an adaptation of the novel by Donald L. Miller.

The new trailer released online today (below) promises impressive dogfights and a spectacular recreation of US Air Force raids on Nazi positions. And of course, the series will focus on the human side, the lives of these young soldiers sent to the air front without being sure of returning safely. Austin Butler, Callum Turner, Anthony Boyle, Nate Mann, Ncuti Gatwa And Barry Keoghan will embody these pilots who sacrificed everything to regain supremacy of the sky from the Luftwaffe.

Masters of the Air follows the men of the 100th Bomb Group (the “Bloody Hundredth”) “as they carried out perilous bombing raids on Nazi Germany, battling extreme weather conditions, lack of oxygen, and the terror of fighting at 25,000 feet. Describe the psychological and emotional impact they endured by these young men as they helped destroy the horror of the Third Reich is at the very heart of the series.” announces the synopsis. “Some were shot and captured; others were injured or killed.
