The new Marvel series after Loki is revealed: trailer

Echo will be derived from Hawkeye, around the MCU’s first Native American superhero.

While Loki slowly coming to an end, Disney Plus announces its brand new Marvel series: Echo.

Already crossed in Hawkeye in 2021, Alaqua Cox will return in a short limited series of five episodes, which will be simultaneously uploaded to Disney+ next Wednesday, January 10. This will be the first MCU series to binge-watch like this.

We will find Maya Lopez (Cox), the one who opposed Clint and Kate, now at the center of the scene. The Native American and hearing-impaired heroine is “pursued by Wilson Fisk’s criminal empire”, announces the synopsis. Because yes, Kingpin is still alive. The one who was her mentor, her godfather, had taken the little girl under his wing when her father died. Without specifying that it was he who had killed him… Maya therefore decided to take revenge by shooting Fisk in the head in the finale of Hawkeye. Obviously, the bullet passed through the indestructible animal, which is still alive. Injured, one eye missing, but still standing! And obviously, determined to make his ex-protege pay.

“When Maya returns home, she must confront her own family and her heritage,” concludes the synopsis.

In the casting, we will therefore see the return of Vincent D’Onofrio at Marvel, but also Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, as well as Zahn McClarnon (Fargo), Devery Jacobs (Reservation Dogs), Cody Lightning, Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, and Graham Greene.
