Director Emerald Fennell presents her version of the dysfunctional family.

The new trailer for Saltburn delves a little deeper into the meeting between the two main characters played by Barry Keoghan (Killing of a sacred deer) And Jacob Elordi (Euphoria). The first, Oliver, is a lonely student who cannot find a place at Oxford University. One day he meets the second, the charismatic Felix Catton. He invites him to spend the summer at Saltburn, his family’s aristocratic estate. Oliver will discover a new world, made of pretenses and excess.

Emerald Fennell achieved international success by winning the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for his first feature film Promising Young Woman. She continues her momentum with Saltburn and an equally interesting cast, since Rosamund Pike And Carey Mulligan (who played the leading role in Promising Young Woman) come to lend a hand to the two protagonists. The trailer highlights the very worked aesthetic of Fennell and promises us an intriguing and twisted work, with characters all darker than the others. Saltburn will be available in France from November 24, 2023 on Amazon Prime Video.
