The New Scott Pilgrim Animated Series Looks Fantastic

A new preview reveals the deadly aesthetic which will seek to reproduce as closely as possible the spirit of the comic strip.

Return to the universe of Scott Pilgrim, but this time, the comic is adapted into a cartoon on Netflix. A fantastically designed animation series, as shown in this new preview. An extract where we find the title hero – always performed by Michael Cera – while he waits to meet Ramona Flowers, who comes to deliver him a DVD… via Netflix. The cartoon aesthetic promises to be absolutely delightful, under the leadership of Studio Science Saru and director Abel Góngora:

Edgar Wright will return as executive producer. And for Scott Pilgrim: Takes Off, the entire cast of his film is back to voice their respective characters. We will therefore find Michael Cera (Scott), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Ramona), Kieran Culkin (Wallace), Chris Evans (Lucas), Aubrey Plaza (Julie) and even Anna Kendrick (Stacey).

The eight episodes of Scott Pilgrim: Takes Off will be available from November 17 on Netflix.
