The reboot of Is There a Cop, starring Liam Neeson, has a release date

The Naked Gun saga will make its return with a new Frank Drebin.

It will certainly be the comedy event of the year 2025. Paramount Pictures has announced its upcoming schedule. And among the upcoming films, we note that the new Is there a cop has a date set for July 28, 2025.

The ZAZ (the trio Jerry Zucker, Jim Abrahams and David Zucker) are no longer there. Leslie Nielsen neither (he died in 2010). So it's Akiva Schaffer who will produce this new version of Naked Gunwhich will feature Liam Neeson in the shoes of Frank Drebin. To ensure humor, Seth MacFarlane (Ted) will be producer. He's the one behind this reboot.

Remember that the saga Is there a cop…. is derived from the series Police Squad (1982). Three films were produced between 1988 and 1994: Is there a cop to save the queen? , Is there a cop to save the president? And Is there a cop to save Hollywood?
