Sleeping Beauty, the Mad Hatter, Tinker Bell and other characters from Winnie the Pooh will be added to the twisted universe…

Jagged Edge Productions prepares to enter the deep bloody bath of horror with its own franchise. The creators of Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey announced a crossover disturbing to say the least, which will bring together the members of the Twisted Childhood universe. Titled Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble, the franchise will expand with the release of the films Bambi: The Reckoning, Neverland Nightmare (Peter Pan) and Pinocchio Unstrung.

After having just fallen into the public domain, these magical characters were remodeled in a vein foreign to that in which they evolved, the slasher. The next upcoming feature film, Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2will invoke the honeyed totems of Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Tigger and Master Owl in an aesthetic that is disturbing to say the least…

Jagged Edge Productions will then continue during the year 2024 with the frightening incarnations of Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, Bambi and Pinocchio. On top of that, the Poohniverse promises to tackle other characters like the Mad Hatter, Sleeping Beauty and Coco Rabbit.

The Poohniverse will be produced by the producer and director of Jagged Edge Productions, Rhys Frake-Waterfieldwho will be responsible for exposing the chaos that these monsters want to impose on the world.

This crossover revives the projects of yesteryear, Freddy vs. Jason Or Alien vs. Predatorby exposing a deadly collaboration that is daring to say the least, a bit far-fetched.

It will be complete carnage,” Waterfield said in an official statement. “We are heavily influenced by Freddy vs. Jason and the Avengers. We'd like to see a horror movie where the bad guys band together and go after the survivors. We have some incredible sets in mind and I think some of the sequences will really shock people. The films we're working on now as stand-alones are all building towards Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble.

Scott Chambers of Blood and Honey 2 will resume its role as Christopher Robin (Jean Christophe from Winnie) in Poohniversejoining Megan Plactio in the role of Wendy Darling, Roxanne McKee in the shoes of Xana and Lewis Santeren as Tigger. More casting announcements will come closer to the film's release.

Scott Chamberswho is also a producer on board Jagged Edge Productionspromised that the crossover would have a significantly larger budget than the standalone films. The production is inspired by the strategy of the MCU (see Spiderverse) with easter eggs hidden in each film:

Just like Avengers, we will follow Winnie, Tigger, Coco Rabbit, Master Owl, Piglet, Pinocchio, Sleeping Beauty, Bambi, the Mad Hatter, Peter Pan and Tinkerbell who will join forces to sow chaos. We're working with a larger scale budget on this one and we're excited for what the future holds. When you see the standalone films, you will see the eastereggs hinting at the crossover. Some of the villains will disagree, allowing for some carnage within the group in an epic monster-on-monster sequence.

Before the release of Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble in 2025, Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey does not have a French release date, but it plans to soon make people cry in the cottages. Here is the trailer:
