Daryl returns to order in the new teaser for his Walking Dead series

The Walking Dead at the Louvre! Norman Reedus says more about the Daryl Dixon series

“We will see all of Paris!” announces the actor.

Norman Reedus will survey France long and wide and across, in The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. The teasers have already shown us this. “The first episode sets the tone for where we are” the actor tells EW in an interview conducted before the strike. “Those teasers where you see me wandering around the countryside – that’s a big part of the first episode.” he reveals. “So this first episode asks a lot of this question: where the hell am I? Wow, this place is beautiful! He doesn’t know where he’s going, what he’s walking towards, but he’s hallucinating…”

Then, by dint of going north (from Marseille, where his raft will run aground), Daryl Dixon will eventually arrive in Paris. In the latest teaser, we saw the biker on the Seine, facing a dilapidated Eiffel Tower… But other monuments will appear!

“We will see all of Paris! You will be able to venture into certain places where people generally cannot film.” Norman Reedus announces that certain sequences were shot in the Catacombs but also at the Louvre Museum. “The French countryside is spreading and this French backdrop is gradually changing into different backdrops of insane scale.”

Of course, along the way, Daryl Dixon will meet some locals. Like an 11-year-old kid played by Louis Puech Scigliuzzi, born in the shelter of a convent. Clémence Poésy will also be there, and she will play a nun named sabelle: “A smart and stubborn nun able to protect herself and the people she loves. Isabelle fled to the countryside when the walkers arrived“specifies the production.

Series The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon airs September 10 on AMC and AMC+ in the United States.
