The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon spin-off will have new zombies
“They’ve evolved to the point that as soon as they bite you, it burns you badly.” Ouch!
After the broadcast of the main series, The Walking Dead is available in several spin-offs. There is the one set in New York with Negan and Maggie, entitled Dead Citywhich has already been visible for a short time, then there will be The Ones Who Live, a short story dedicated to Rick Grimes and Michonne. Between the two, AMC is preparing Daryl Dixon, tour in France (the teaser notably showed Mont-Saint-Michel).
Greg Nicotero, one of the brains behind this new show carried by Norman Reedushas already promised that Daryl Dixon would be quite different from The Walking Dead to surprise the fans: “It’s not the same thing. Clearly!, he said in July. Our series will introduce new characters, new themes and is an exciting expansion of the genre that fans of Walking Dead who ask for more. It’s probably an independent story like never before in the saga. The goal is not just to see Daryl in exotic and new places in France, but to explore a completely different world.”
More recently, the director added a detail by discussing the project with TV Insider : this series will also be responsible for revealing new zombies! “They have evolved to the point that as soon as they bite you, or just touch you, or their blood infects you, it burns you badly. Which will change all the rules of survival.”
We should soon come across these new zombies in Daryl Dixon, since the series is scheduled for September 10 in the United States. In France, however, this spin-off does not yet have a broadcaster.
