There will be no Miss Marvel season 2 on Disney+ if The Marvels flops

When season 1 was released, they told us bluntly: “We would like the series to continue. We still have lots of stories to tell with Kamala.”. The Belgian directors of the Disney Plus series, Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, never had in mind making a limited series. A season 2 of Miss Marvel has always been in the air.

But today they suggest that nothing will be done if The Marvels is not a success.

Indeed, Kamala Khan will return alongside Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) in the next MCU film. And the order for a season 2 of Miss Marvel :

“We are waiting for the release of The Marvels. That will decide the next step of Miss Marvel. So we can’t wait. We can not wait to see it. It’s great to see Iman Vellani and the whole family in the trailers and we know she’s going to do a great job.”comments the filmmaker duo in an interview with The Playlist.

The Marvels will be released in theaters on November 8.
