This is his 12th appearance in Star Wars! A franchise veteran breaks a record in episode 7 of Ahsoka

77-year-old actor Anthony Daniels has been there since the very beginning.

He thought he said goodbye to his character at the end of filmingEpisode IX. But Anthony Daniels wasn’t quite done with it Star Wars. The 77-year-old English actor was there again this week, in episode 7 ofAhsoka, streaming on Disney Plus. C3PO made an appearance and it was once again Daniels who overtook the diplomatic droid, thus breaking a record!

This is in fact his 12th appearance in the canons of Star Wars (not to mention his participation in animated series). The actor participated in more projects in the Galaxy far far away than any franchise star. C3PO and Anthony Daniels were nine films in the saga Skywalker. He was also in Rogue One. And more recently in the series Obi-Wan Kenobi, already on Disney Plus. In fact, he appeared every time, except in Solo And The Mandalorian (for the moment).

It should be noted that the actor already has the honor of being the first to speak in the saga, since it is he who delivers the very first dialogue in the first scene of Star Wars.

In Ahsoka, Threepio introduces himself on behalf of Princess Leia, now Senator Organa and leader of the New Republic Defense Council. No Carrie Fisher (who died in 2016), but her faithful droid is still there, faithful to the post…

Ahsoka will end next Wednesday on Disney Plus.
