A tantalizing seven-minute sequence was posted before the film’s release.

The release date of Dune: Part Two is getting closer! To further fuel fans’ excitement, the media Fandango published a seven-minute sequence of the film on his X account. This is not a banal scene, on the contrary. Fans can discover a long extract where Paul Atréides (Timothée Chalamet) rides a giant sandworm as an initiation rite to become a Fremen, the desert people of Arrakis.

Under the watchful eye of the chief of the Stilgar tribe (Javier Bardem) and his daughter Chani (Zendaya), Paul faces alone a gigantic worm heading straight for him, before jumping on its back and trying as best he can to cling to it. After a fierce fight against the sand, the young hero finally manages to tame the worm and stand up, provoking cheers and respect from the Fremen.

The video begins with a short introduction of the cast. “With Dune: Part Two, Denis (Villeneuve) brings his vision fully to life”, affirms Timothée Chalamet. His playing partner Zendaya added by declaring “that you can see that there is so much joy in him every time he comes to workshe says, speaking of the filmmaker, this passion invigorates us all”. The two parts of Duneadaptation of the literary work of Frank Herbert, represent one of the most ambitious projects of the career of Denis Villeneuve.

Austin Butler And Florence Pugh both joined the adventure Dune in the second installment, introducing two new characters. Butler plays the role of Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, a fearsome psychopathic killer. “You don’t get to play a character like that every day”, he explains with a smile. Florence Pughshe slips into the futuristic costumes of Princess Irulan, daughter of Emperor Shaddam (Christopher Walken). The actress states that “It’s bigger and better than I imagined.

Josh Brolin, Rebecca Ferguson, Dave Bautista, Stellan Skarsgard And Léa Seydoux are also there. Dune 2 will arrive in our cinemas on February 28, 2024.
