Trailer for the film by Harmony Korine and Travis Scott, which will be shown in strip clubs

Filmed entirely in infrared, Aggro Dr1ft will be as psychedelic as possible.

Harmony Korine returns, and the director of spring breakers has lost none of his desire to break the codes. For Aggro Dr1ftdesigned in partnership with the rapper Travis Scott, he decided to shoot an entire film in infrared. Which makes these first images totally psychedelic, with all these beings in multiple shades of blue to red depending on their body heat.

This feature film will be 100% experimental, visibly inspired by successful music videos and video games: we see cars going at full speed, armed men, terrifying masks, we recognize the palm tree streets of Miami… . All presented by the voice of the “greatest assassin in the world”, who, although unrecognizable in these images, is played by Travis Scott.

After being shown to the public at TIFF, at the Venice Film Festival and at the New York Film Festival, Aggro Dr1ft will be scheduled next month in Los Angeles. Not a cinema, but… a striptease room, explains Variety, which specifies that the session will be hosted by a collective of artists, EDFLRD, with a decor designed especially for this screening. It should also be accompanied by alternative music, notably compositions by Araabmuzik, chosen by Korine to imagine the soundtrack for his film. After this broadcast event on February 7, others of the same type should be organized in the United States.

In France, Aggro Dr1ft does not yet have a release date or location, whether in theaters or elsewhere.
