Warwick Davis explains in this Twitter message: “I meet lovely people every day who are fans of Willow, and who are the reason the Disney+ series was made. So please tell me (Walt Disney Company), what is I tell these subscribers when they ask me why they can’t watch the series anymore?

Willow was one of the titles that Disney+ removed from its streaming library in May, like around fifty others, including the original series The Mysterious Benedict Circle or the movie The One and Only Ivan. Disney Chief Financial Officer Christine McCarthy explained that Disney expected to take a writedown of $1.5 billion to $1.8 billion during the second quarter and decided to remove content from its streaming platforms. .
