Welcome to the 23rd century: Mars Express is revealed in an exciting trailer

Jérémie Périn’s animated film is a thriller with a hard SF background.

Screened in Cannes and at the Annecy animated film festival, Mars Express finally shows itself to the general public with an ultra-paced trailer. The feature film directed by Jérémie Périn (the series Lastman) and co-scripted by Laurent Sarfati takes place in the year 2200. We follow Aline Ruby (voiced by Léa Drucker), a stubborn and abstinent private detective, as well as her android partner Carlos Rivera (Daniel Njo Lobé). The duo is hired by a rich businessman to capture a famous hacker on Earth. But back on Mars, they will be confronted with the darkest secrets of their city, a libertarian utopia where murder, trafficking, augmented cyber killers, brain farms and shenanigans of all kinds flourish.…
