Who will be the new Zeus in season 2 of Percy Jackson?

We will have to find a replacement for Lance Reddick, who died last March.

Central character in the finale of Percy Jackson, Lance Reddick will be hard to replace. The actor of John Wick died last year, shortly after filming season 1 of the Disney Plus series. It will therefore be necessary to have a new Zeus for the ordered season 2.

“We’re not there yet… We’re still a little in denial”, comments the co-creator and executive producer of the series, Jon Steinberg in TVline. “We recently received a message from his wife, who said how proud he would have been to see the series…”

Toby Stephenswho plays Poseidon in Percy Jacksonalso confides: “I remember the last thing I said to him before I left was: I really can’t wait to work with you again! And it was sincere. I really enjoyed working with him and I I was a big fan. He was physically impressive and perfect to play Zeus. He had this powerful charisma and yet he was also a lovable, humble and dependable guy.“

So who will have the shoulders to take their turn in the costume of the king of the Gods of Olympus?

Lance Reddick was found dead at his home at the age of 60 in March 2023.
