Who will broadcast season 2 of House of the Dragon in France?

Max or Prime Video? We have the answer.

A little less than two years ago, when the Targaryens were making their return to television, it was OCS which broadcast season 1 of House of the Dragon. Logical, since the pay channel had previously broadcast all the seasons of Game Of Thrones at our place.

And then, a few months later, Warner Bros. and HBO have ended their ten-year deal with OCS. House of the Dragon was released on Prime Video with the Warner pass. A temporary transition, pending the launch of Max in France. Precisely, the Warner Bros. streaming platform. Discovery will begin this Tuesday, June 11 in France. It will be accessible directly online or via certain distributors such as Canal+ and… Prime Video.

Because Amazon will stop the Warner Pass to follow this new offer. From June 11, it will cease to exist and will be transformed into Max via Prime Video. All Warner pass subscribers will be switched directly, at no additional cost, to Max. The price of €9.99 remains unchanged and they will continue to have access to Eurosport at no extra cost until December 11, 2024. After this date, you will have to pay €5 per month more for Eurosport.

For Canal Plus subscribers, Max will be included at no extra cost in the CANAL+ Ciné Séries, Rat+ Ciné Séries, Friends & Family, Friends & Family offers (without Netflix), but also in the Ciné Séries Channels pack (with more Ciné Séries Channels ), the Ciné Séries pack (with more Ciné Séries), Intégrale and Intégrale+. CANAL+ subscribers who do not have these plans will be able to subscribe to Max as an option via the Canal customer area.

It is therefore on the Max platform (via Prime, Canal + or other distributors) that season 2 of House of the Dragoneverywhere in France, from next Monday June 17.

The base price of Max is set at €5.99 per month for the ad-supported version. The ad-free version will cost €9.99 per month.
