It’s certainly a good way to build hype around The Marvels. A few days before the theatrical release, a brand new spot for the film, broadcast on American TV, announces a surprise cameo. An Asgardian warrior could well come and lend a helping hand to Captain Marvel, Miss Marvel and Captain Monica Rambeau.

The video in question indeed shows the Bifrost opening through space. “‘I called a friend,’ says Carol Danvers to her friends. Since only Asgardians like Thor and Loki are the only ones who can use the rainbow-type bridge to travel anywhere in the Ten Realms, it’s highly likely that Carol’s friend is one of the Asgardian heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Possibly, the script could go all the way with its “girl power” tone and we can clearly see Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) coming to lend a hand…

Directed by Nia DaCosta, The Marvels will be released on November 8 in cinemas in France.
