Zac Efron, incredible muscle beast in the Iron Claw trailer
A stunning wrestling drama also starring Jeremy Allen White, star of The Bear.
If he had already pumped up his pectorals for the film adaptation ofBaywatchsix years ago, Zac Efron is just unrecognizable in the trailer for his next film, Iron Claw. And not just because of a questionable haircut… The former twink High School Musical lifted a bunch of cast iron to build such an impressive body. The muscles of a wrestler pumped up on hormones, which burst onto the screen in the trailer for the new event drama produced by the A24 studio (below).
A family story that’s a little too focused on the ring. An authoritarian father who will push his sons to the point of ranking them in order of preference. How could this go wrong?
“The inseparable Von Erich brothers left their mark on the history of professional wrestling in the early 1980s. Trained with an iron fist by a tyrannical father, they will have to fight in the ring and in their lives. Between triumphs and tragedies, this new nugget produced by A24 is inspired by their own story” promises the synopsis.
In the casting, we will find around Zac Efron the excellent ones Jeremy Allen White (of The Bear) And Lily James (Yesterday). The abusive father will be embodied by the terrifying Holt McCallany (of Mindhunter).
The Iron Claw, directed by Sean Durkin (The Nest), will be released in theaters on February 14, 2024.
