Zorro returns: the trailer with an Elite star

Miguel Bernardeau plays the masked avenger in 1834, in a new Spanish series.

While waiting for the version with Jean Dujardin, for France Télé, Zorro is back at Mediawan with this new Spanish series, directed by Javier Quintas and unveiled this week at Mipcom.

The first teaser reveals Miguel Bernardeauthe actor‘Elite, who will put on the mask of Don Diego de la Vega, alongside Renata Notni in the role of Lolita Marquez. The cast is completed by Dalia Xiuhcoatl, Paco Tous, Emiliano Zurita and Joel Bosqued.

The video also shows that the series will be historical, in settings reconstructing Los Angeles in 1834, at the time when California was still under Spanish domination.

The ten-episode series was purchased by Prime Video for the United States, Latin America, Spain, Andorra and Portugal. We do not yet know if the streamer will offer it in France.
